Last Friday, we started an appeal alongside LCC to return some missing precious baby items that were found by our employee Carl Clark when filtering through tipped waste for recyclable materials.
The items contained 2 silver pots of baby’s first locks, a baby scan and a hospital ID band with the mother’s surname. Once found a campaign was launched online to reunite these items to a mum and her family! Liverpool Women’s Hospital saw the post on social media and got into contact to help locate the mother through historic hospital records…
Fast forward to this morning and Carl was able to reunite these precious items to Mum Catherine, and 16 year old daughter Macy. Remarkably, these items have been missing for the last 13 years but thanks to Carl locating them a few weeks ago in some tipped waste we were able to return such precious items to the family.
What a lovely story and a one in a million find from our very own Carl Clark!
